Rhyl mudflats five rescued in RNLI, coastguard, RAF operation

Five people, including a man with a suspected broken leg, have been rescued after becoming stranded on mudflats in Denbighshire.

RNLI crews and a Sea King helicopter from RAF Valley were involved in the operation on Thursday evening at Rhyl.

Holyhead coastguard received a call for help at 20:20 BST on Thursday and also sent a team.
