Motorcyclist seriously injured in Wrexham collision

A motorcyclist from Wrexham suffered "serious life-changing injuries" in a collision in the town.

Police were called to Higher Berse Road, Wrexham, at 00:02 BST on Tuesday.

The force has appealed for witnesses after the incident involving a blue Suzuki motorcycle.

The local man, in his 40s, remains in hospital. Witnesses have been asked to call North Wales Police on 101 with information.

Pc Andrew Pritchard, of the force's eastern roads policing unit, added: "Despite the remote location and time of day I'm still hopeful of identifying witnesses who can assist our investigation into this collision."

He said any witnesses can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting incident RC13090759.
