Motorcyclist dies on A5 near Corwen after crash with lorry

A man has died following a collision between his motorcycle and a lorry on the A5 in Denbighshire.

An ambulance was called to the incident involving the bike and an Iveco Tipper lorry at Maerdy, Corwen, at 13:56 BST on Monday.

North Wales Police said the man in his 60s was airlifted to Wrexham Maelor hospital where he later died.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt 1043 Thomas at Deeside Roads Policing Unit or officers on 101.
