Man, 24, hurt in collision with taxi in Wrexham street

Police in Wrexham are appealing for information after a 24-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after he was in a collision with a taxi.

The incident happened as the man was walking at the junction of St Giles Way and Salop Road at around 23:30 GMT on Saturday.

North Wales Police said the man, who is local to the area, was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.

Officers are appealing for witnesses.
