Man found dead on Prestatyn beach is named as Garry Daltry

A man whose body was found on a Denbighshire beach has been named.

Former teacher Garry Arthur Daltry, 64, from Prestatyn was found on the town's seafront on New Year's Day.

The cause of his death is still being treated as unexplained by North Wales Police.

North Wales Central coroner John Gittins opened and adjourned an inquest into the death on Monday so that further tests can be carried out.
