4G mobile phone service rolled out in Rhyl by EE

A Denbighshire town will become the 200th place in the UK to receive fourth generation (4G) mobile phone service.

Operator EE says it will turn on the service in Rhyl this spring - offering high-speed mobile internet connections.

The town becomes the first part of north Wales to get the service, which was first launched in 2012.

Swansea, Newport, Merthyr, Caerphilly, Cwmbran, Caldicot and Chepstow also have 4G services, which deliver faster internet speeds than 3G networks.
