Body recovered from Denbigh quarry pool
The body of a 20-year-old man has been recovered from a quarry pool in north Wales.
North Wales Police say the man has been identified and is local to the area.
An underwater search team was called to the quarry on Saturday afternoon following reports that an individual had failed to return to the surface of a pool.
Police have not yet named the individual, but his family have been informed.
Speaking on Sunday, Detective Chief Inspector Dan Tipton said: "Police are not treating the death as suspicious and the Coroner will be informed.
"Officers from North Wales Police will continue to undertake inquiries on behalf of the Coroner and a file will be submitted in due course."
