Crews still fighting Saltney, Flintshire, factory blaze
Firefighters are dampening down a blaze on an industrial park in Flintshire more than day after it broke out.
Six crews were dealing with burning recycling waste on River Lane Industrial Estate, Saltney.
Emergency services were called at 08:08 BST on Tuesday, with 25 firefighters tackling the blaze at its height.
Nobody is reported injured but Public Health Wales advised residents to stay indoors and close doors and windows if smoke was visible at ground level.
Natural Resources Wales said it believed pollution from the blaze has had a "minimal impact" on the River Dee.
Two crews from Deeside, two from Cheshire, one from Flint and a high volume pump from Llandudno were dealing with the blaze.
