Driver seriously hurt in crash at A483 at Rhostyllen

A man has been left with life-threatening injuries after getting trapped in a one-car crash near Wrexham.

The driver, in his 20s, crashed on the northbound side of the A483 at Rhostyllen shortly before 07:45 BST on Tuesday.

A crew from North Wales Fire and Rescue had to cut him free from the blue Audi A3.

He was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
