Tweedmill Textiles takes on workers and opens Flint factory
A Denbighshire-based textile firm is taking on 16 staff and opening a new factory in Flintshire to meet demand.
Tweedmill Textiles, which currently employs 30 people, is opening a new facility at Castle Park Industrial Estate in Flint.
Bosses say they have outgrown their factory at Denbigh due to a continued growth in business.
The company began as as a cottage industry from a farm in Llanasa, near Prestatyn, in 1998.
The Welsh government has given £160,000 to the £400,000 development.
