Policeman Michael Laidlaw on dangerous driving charge

A policeman has been charged with dangerous driving after allegedly crashing a squad car into two parked cars near Wrexham.

Michael Laidlaw is accused of hitting the cars in the early hours of 11 November in Rhos.

He appeared at Mold Crown Court on Friday for a preliminary hearing but did not enter a formal plea.

Mr Laidlaw, 52, of Baystone Hill in Shrewsbury, was bailed by judge Niclas Parry until a plea hearing in January.
