A busy Denbighshire road bridge is to shut for a month for repairs to be carried out.

Rhyl's grade II-listed Foryd Bridge, which takes the A548 over the River Clwyd, needs a new bridge deck following strengthening work.

It will close to traffic from 20 February to March 16. Footpaths will be closed from 16 February to 27 March.

Pedestrians can use the Pont Y Ddraig bridge, while drivers will be diverted over the A525 Rhuddlan viaduct.
