A new £30m school campus will give children in a Flintshire town the opportunity to get the highest quality education, according to a head teacher.

Work has started on the new complex on the site of Holywell High School.

It will also take in pupils from two primary schools as well as providing education for 11 to 16-year-olds.

Ysgol Perth y Terfyn and Ysgol y Fron are closing. Ysgol y Fron head Peter Davies said a "fantastic" facility was being built.
