Crossbow attacker jailed for assaulting girlfriend

A man who twice shot a crossbow towards his girlfriend in Denbighshire has been jailed for four months.

Kristian Foster, 40, of Butterton Road, Rhyl, hit a wall and pierced a blow-up mattress near Imogen Tynan.

Foster admitted five counts of common assault, including two involving the crossbow, at Llandudno Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

He was also given a restraining order and told to pay £500 in costs and compensation.
