Man dies after pond incident at Greenfield Valley

A man aged in his 20s has died after his body was recovered from a pond at a heritage park in Flintshire.

North Wales Police and other emergency service crews were called to Greenfield Valley, near Holywell, in the early hours of Monday.

Two men were taken to hospital where one of them was pronounced dead, said police. His next of kin have been informed.

Officers are investigating and are treating his death as unexplained.

The other man was taken to hospital for a check up.
