Home burglaries in Wrexham and Flintshire fall by a quarter
House burglaries have fallen 23.9% with 216 fewer incidents in Wrexham and Flintshire over the last 12 months.
North Wales Police's eastern division said the sharp fall was as a result of a campaign "targeting and disrupting criminals prepared to commit burglary".
Det Ch Insp Neil Harrison said it had become a major priority as burglaries caused "great distress to victims".
He added: "It is important that people are made to feel safe, particularly in their own homes."
