Three in hospital after A55 crash at Bodelwyddan

A man has suffered potentially serious injuries and two others were also taken to hospital following a crash on the A55 in Denbighshire.

The two-vehicle incident happened at Bodelwyddan on Friday at about 12:00 BST.

Two people had to be freed from the vehicles, according to North Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

The Welsh Ambulance Service said the three casualties were taken to nearby Glan Clwyd Hospital.

Another man suffered minor injuries and a woman was taken to hospital for a precautionary check-up.
