A second CT scanner has been installed at a hospital in Denbighshire to meet demand, health bosses have said.

Glan Clwyd hospital in Bodelwyddan now provides exams covering four extra working days a week.

The £600,000 scanner is part of the latest phase of a multimillion pound redevelopment at the site.

Bosses said it provides greater scope to cover scheduled and unscheduled CT scans and "meet the demands of patients in need of emergency care".
