School tribute after death of Porthmadog girl, 15

Tributes have been paid to a 15-year-old schoolgirl who died suddenly at her home in Gwynedd on Saturday.

Ffion Haf Vaughan-Williams, from Porthmadog, was described as a "dear and pleasant pupil" by her school, Ysgol Eifionydd.

Head teacher Alwen Watkin said the Year 11 pupil was a "lively girl who was always enthusiastic and worked hard".

Deputy coroner for north west Wales, Nicola Jones, opened and adjourned an inquest into the death.
