Man held after woman's body found on A548 Bagillt road
A man has been arrested by police investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a road in Flintshire.
The body of mother-of-three Louise Amison, 31, was spotted on the A548 just past the initial junction for Bagillt, Flintshire, early last Sunday.
Police say a man, aged 30, from Runcorn, Cheshire, is being interviewed about the fatal road traffic collision.
Officers are due to carry out checks on Sunday to "jog people's memories".
Det Insp Sian Beck said: "We are anxious to speak to anyone who may have been travelling in a vehicle along the Coast Road through Flint crossroads towards Bagillt at around 4.30am.
"We are appealing for information from anyone who was in a vehicle on or near the A548 between Flint and Holywell at this time and who might have noticed a woman about 5ft tall wearing a dark jacket and jeans and a red hat, to come forward.
"We are also planning to hold road checks in the early hours of Sunday morning to see if we can jog people's memories."
Family and close friends said Ms Amison, who lived in Bagilllt, would be "sadly missed".
In a statement, released through North Wales Police earlier this week, they said she leaves three boys, Jordan, 14, Joshua, 10, and Jack, eight.
Ms Amison was pronounced dead at the scene.
