Man bailed over A55 bridge 'stone throwing' near Bangor

A man has been released on police bail pending further inquiries into a number of incidents of stones being allegedly thrown at cars on the A55 in Gwynedd.

Five incidents have been confirmed over the last seven days near a bridge at the village of Caerhun, near Bangor.

In one a five-year-old boy suffered serious facial injuries.

North Wales Police arrested a man from the Bangor area in connection with the incidents but say he has been bailed while inquiries continue.
