Two Snowdonia climbers rescued in all-night operation

Two climbers have spent a night on a mountain in Snowdonia before being rescued by emergency services.

The two men from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, ran out of daylight after climbing Craig yr Ysfa above the Conwy valley on Saturday.

Twenty members of Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue team took part in the all-night operation, rescuing the men off a cliff at 0530 GMT on Sunday.

The two, who had torches, were pulled off Great Gully from above with ropes.
