Penmaenmawr assault man, 54, critical as three quizzed

Three people are being questioned by police after a man suffered serious head injuries in a Conwy village.

Police said they were investigating a serious assault after a report of a disturbance at a Penmaenmawr house shortly before midnight on Wednesday.

The 54-year-old man was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd hospital, Bodelwyddan, where he was described as being in a critical condition.

Any witnesses have been asked by North Wales Police to get in touch.
