Pair injured after pleasure cruiser hits Beaumaris pier
A man and woman were taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries after a pleasure cruiser hit Beaumaris pier on Anglesey.
The bow of the Star Rida Two was damaged in the incident which happened shortly after 1500 BST on Thursday.
The local inshore lifeboat was launched to bring ashore an injured woman passenger.
The pair, aged in their 60s, were treated by paramedics and taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd at Bangor.
Coastguards said other passengers, including a child with an injured head, were treated at the scene.
The RNLI said its inshore lifeboat later escorted the cruiser to moorings.
