Inquest opens on Abersoch driver William Hughes

An inquest has been opened into the death of a 24-year-old man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Gwynedd.

William Naden Hughes, from Abersoch, was driving a Ford Focus when it was involved in a collision with a Man truck on the A4212 near Bala.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident at just before 07:30 BST on Monday.

Mr Hughes was pronounced dead at the scene.

The inquest was opened by the north west Wales coroner and adjourned to a later date.
