Ysbyty Gwynedd sandwich row: WRVS volunteers stage demo
Volunteers who run a hospital tea bar have staged a protest over a decision to stop taking sandwiches from a local firm.
Menai Deli will no longer supply Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor after the WRVS charity signed a UK-wide deal with Ginsters.
WRVS said the move was necessary to sustain its "good work and services".
Menai Deli - which has supplied the WRVS for 20 years - said six jobs will go after losing its biggest customer.
More than 40 protesters took part in the demonstration at the hospital at lunchtime on Wednesday.
WRVS said Ginsters were planning to open a "mini-sales office" in north Wales, which would employ local people.
But Elfed Roberts, a former NHS trust chair, has written to the Charity Commission to complain about the decision, saying it seriously damaged the reputation of the WRVS in north Wales.
