Stranded porpoise returned to sea at Penmon, Anglesey

A porpoise found stranded on a beach on Anglesey has been helped back out to sea by rescuers.

The animal was initially helped after it was found at Penmon on Sunday but soon returned to shallow water.

Holyhead Coastguards, the RSPCA and British Divers Marine Life Rescue later managed to encourage the porpoise further out to sea.

Porpoise is the smallest of the toothed whales and resembles the dolphin, but is smaller in size.
