Man charged after A55 road death of James Loveridge
A 27-year-old Flintshire man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving on the A55 in Gwynedd.
David Michael Doherty, from Queensferry, is in custody and will appear before magistrates on Friday.
James Loveridge, 38, from Elton, Cheshire, died in the two-vehicle accident at Abergwyngregyn on Sunday and three others were seriously hurt.
A Mitsubishi Shogun and a Renault Master van were in the collision on the westbound road.
Mr Loveridge was a front seat passenger in the blue Mitsubishi and died at the scene.
Two other occupants of the Mitsubishi remain in hospital with serious injuries.
Another person in the vehicle needed hospital treatment.
The driver of the white van remains in a critical condition at hospital where he is receiving treatment for serious head and neck injuries.
