TV production company Cwmni Da hit by equipment theft
An independent television company says it has lots tens of thousands of pounds' worth of specialised equipment after a break-in.
Burglars are believed to have broken into Cwmni Da's offices at Y Felinheli near Bangor, Gwynedd, on Saturday night.
Owner Dylan Huws said the equipment taken would only be useful to those involved in the television industry.
North Wales Police is investigating.
"The matter is now in the hands of Caernarfon CID," said Mr Huws.
The production company equipment contained one tape but no original creative material was lost.
Mr Huws added: "The machines are high quality and worth a substantial sum."
He said he expected the company to rent similar equipment and added that he hopes no production deadlines will be missed.
The company produces a range of programmes, in both Welsh and English, including Helicopter Rescue for BBC Wales.
