The body of a man found in the sea off Anglesey has been confirmed as that of an 18-year-old who had been missing.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of Philip Edward Matthew Williams, who was known as Matthew.

He had been missing from Bangor, Gwynedd, since 25 April and his body was found off Malltraeth on 23 May.

When his body was found rescuers clarified that it was unconnected to an earlier search for a missing Conwy man.

The search is continuing for Roger Wilyman, 61, from Llanfair Talhaiarn in Conwy, who has not been seen since 18 May.

He was last seen leaving the Rhos Fynach restaurant and bar in Rhos-on-Sea at 20:15 BST and his Audi car was later found at Trearddur Bay, Anglesey.
