Two teenagers airlifted after swimming off Anglesey.

Two teenage holidaymakers were airlifted to hospital feeling the effects of the cold after swimming in the sea off Anglesey.

An RAF rescue helicopter from Valley flew the girl and boy, both aged 15, to hospital in Bangor.

After their swim they had climbed up a cliff at Trearddur Bay.

It was the 8,997th mission by rescue helicopters based at RAF Valley on Anglesey.
