A55 reopens after lorry and car crash on Britannia Bridge

The A55 has reopened in both directions at Bangor, Gwynedd, following a crash between a lorry and a car on the Britannia Bridge.

The Iveco lorry turned on its side after colliding with a Citroen at 20:00 BST on Thursday, blocking east and westbound carriageways, police said.

The drivers of both vehicles received minor injuries.

Earlier this month, the A55 in Gwynedd was shut down for 12 hours after a lorry overturned.
