Woman, 49, charged over Pwllheli house fire

A 49-year-old woman has been charged with arson after a house fire which spread to neighbouring properties.

Nobody was injured in the incident at Morfa'r Garreg estate in Pwllheli, Gwynedd, on Wednesday evening.

The woman is due to appear before Caernarfon magistrates on Friday.

In a separate incident which police say is not linked, a 42-year-old man has been charged with arson after a flat fire at nearby Victoria Parade on the same night.

He will also appear before Caernarfon magistrates.
