A497 Pwllheli crash man, 25, airlifted to hospital

A motorist has suffered serious injuries after his car was involved in a crash and ended up in a field in Gwynedd.

The 25-year-old was airlifted to hospital following the single-vehicle incident on the A497 near Llannor on Monday at about 05:00 BST.

No other vehicles were involved. The man was alone in the silver Subaru Impreza.

Police have closed a section of the Nefyn and Pwllheli road.

North Wales Police want witnesses to call its roads policing unit on 101.
