Blaenau Ffestiniog flat fire man, 47, rescued but unhurt

A 47-year-old man has been rescued by firefighters from a flat fire in Gwynedd.

The blaze was caused by a cooker at Pen y Bryn, Blaenau Ffestiniog, on Sunday at 02:04 BST.

Fire engines from Blaenau Ffestiniog and Porthmadog dealt tackled the fire which caused smoke damage.

North Wales Fire and Rescue say the man was uninjured.
