Boy, five, airlifted after kayak capsizes off Anglesey
A boy of five was flown to hospital by an air ambulance helicopter after a kayak capsized in the sea off Anglesey.
The child and his father had been aboard a kayak on Monday when they were thrown into the water at Holyhead.
A lifeboat was launched but it is understood the pair got out of the sea after help from another kayaker. The boy went to hospital for a check up.
At the same time, another lifeboat was called to help a motorboat that had lost steering near Holyhead.
The vessel was three miles north west of the port with five people on board and had to be towed to Holyhead Marina.
