Man, 25, suffers broken jaw in 'cowardly' attack in Bethesda

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a broken jaw in an unprovoked assault.

The 25-year-old was attacked from behind some time after 23:30 GMT on Boxing Day on High Street in Bethesda, Gwynedd, near the Bull Inn.

He could not give any details of who attacked him.

North Wales Police called it a "cowardly" assault and appealed for witnesses to call 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
