Four people injured in Trawsfynydd crash

Four people have been injured after two vehicles collided in Gwynedd, forcing the closure of a main road.

The crash on the A4212 near Trawsfynydd at around 14:45 BST involved a Toyota Auris and a Peugeot 307, said North Wales Police.

The A4212 was closed between Trawsfynydd and the junction with the B4391 towards Bala.

Police are appealing for witnesses to call the roads policing unit on 101 quoting reference number R084370.

Three people with injuries described as non-life threatening were taken to hospital by ambulance.

A fourth casualty, a woman in her 80s, was airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
