Parents have marched in protest against plans to merge two primary schools in Conwy.

Conwy council wants to merge Ysgol Maelgwn and Ysgol Nant y Coed and create one larger school at Llandudno Junction.

Campaigners marched from Ysgol y Maelgwn to the proposed new site next to the town's Welsh government building on Friday.

The merger plan was put forward in a bid to tackle rising pupil numbers.
