Kevin Chambers admits offences prior to Carole Wall death

A man has admitted charges relating to an incident when he banged on a woman's door in Llandudno and she subsequently died of a heart attack.

Family of hairdresser Carole Wall, 58, who collapsed during a 999 call to police, said the charges did not reflect the gravity of what happened.

Kevin Chambers, 37, of Pen y Cwm, Llandudno, pleaded guilty to possessing an offensive weapon and damaging the door on September 15 last year.

He was remanded until sentencing.

Home Office pathologist Brian Rogers told Mrs Wall's inquest in March that the grandmother had extensive heart disease.

He said he believed she must have already suffered a heart attack and the existing damage to her heart was such that she could have died at any time but concluded that "she wouldn't have died when she did if this incident hadn't occurred".
