Body recovered from water at Rhos-on-Sea is identified

North Wales Police say they have now identified the body of the man recovered from the sea at Rhos-on-Sea, near Colwyn Bay.

The body was recovered by the Llandudno inshore lifeboat shortly before 10:00 BST on Saturday.

Following an appeal, police said the man was a 43-year-old from Runcorn in Cheshire.

Officers said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
