Operation Scorpion: Four charged with supplying drugs

Four people from Gwynedd have been charged with supplying drugs as part of a crackdown against organised crime.

A woman, 27, and a man, 18, from Porthmadog, a 19-year-old Pwllheli man and a 23-year-old man from Blaenau Ffestiniog will appear before magistrates on 22 December.

They have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

North Wales Police said this takes the number of people charged under Operation Scorpion to 18.

Det Insp Arwyn Jones, who is leading the investigation, said: "This is by no means the end.

"We will continue while there are those in our communities who inflict this level of criminality."
