Holyhead pub murder: Man charged after David Jones' death

A man has appeared in court charged with murder following the death of a pub landlord on Anglesey.

David Jones, 46, died at the Blossoms pub in Holyhead on Friday afternoon.

Peter Garrod, from Trearddur Bay, appeared before Caernarfon Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The 24-year-old spoke only to confirm his name and address during the four-minute hearing, and was remanded in custody until Tuesday where he will be brought before Mold Crown Court.
