Appeal after woman assaulted in Lidl car park, Bangor

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously assaulted in a supermarket car park in Bangor.

Police want to speak to two women in their 20s who witnessed the assault in the Lidl car park on High Street at around 14:2 BST on Saturday.

A man has been arrested and bailed pending further inquiries.

PC Arwyn Tudur Jones from North Wales Police has appealed for the two women to come forward.

He said: "Two young women, believed to be in their early 20s, who were in the car park at the time noticed the incident and reported it to a member of staff at the Lidl store.

"We are keen to establish the identity of these people and would like to speak to anyone else who witnessed the assault in the car park."
