Bangor University student arrested over imitation firearm
A student was arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm after an incident at Bangor University.
North Wales Police attended a building at the university after a report on Friday someone was believed to have a gun.
A force spokesman said a 20-year-old man had already been detained by staff when officers arrived.
He was arrested and has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The spokesman said: "There was no risk posed to the public."
