Two taken to hospital after Anglesey lightning strikes

A woman and boy have been taken to hospital following lightning strikes at a house on Anglesey.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called at 06:27 BST to Rhostrehwfa, near Llangefni, on Tuesday.

The first strike hit a shed which caused a small fire and the second struck the chimney which then collapsed.

The Welsh Ambulance Service said the woman and boy were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with minor injuries.
