Mair Roberts, 90, killed in Pwllheli crash 'loved by all'
An elderly passenger who died following a crash involving a car and a van in Gwynedd was "loved by all", her family has said.
Mair Roberts, 90, was killed in the crash on the A499 at Y Ffor, Pwllheli, at 15:45 BST on Wednesday.
She was travelling in the front seat of a silver VW Polo car and died at the scene.
A tribute from her family described her as "a very kind and popular lady".
"The family are devastated by the loss of Mair Roberts, wife of the late John Trevor Roberts, who tragically lost her life in a car accident that occurred in Y Ffor near Pwllheli on Wednesday," the tribute said.
"She leaves behind her daughter Deilwen Roberts, grandson Gary Roberts and his family and her sister Kate Anne Roberts.
"Mair was a very kind and popular lady loved by all and who were fortunate enough to have known her."
North Wales Police said the driver and a back seat passenger were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
The Ford Transit van driver was not injured.
