Police

Two men from north Wales and three from Liverpool are in court after being charged as part of a drug trafficking investigation.

It follows raids across Conwy county on Tuesday and Wednesday, in an operation led by Dyfed-Powys Police.

The men all face class A heroin and cocaine drug conspiracy offences at Aberystwyth Magistrates' Court.

The police said the arrests were "part of an ongoing" operation.

In total, eight people have been arrested over the two days, five of them in the Llandudno Junction area.

Police said one of the men charged was from Colwyn Bay, while the other Welsh suspect lived in Penmaenmawr.
