Vote 2011: Rivals attack Labour over Aberconwy leaflets
A Labour Welsh assembly candidate has been accused of making false claims about Lib Dem and Plaid Cymru rivals.
Both Lib Dems and Plaid say leaflets circulated by Eifion Wyn Williams in Aberconwy contained "personal attacks" that were "categorically untrue".
They have asked Labour to withdraw the leaflet and are seeking legal advice.
Labour said: "We have received correspondence from the Liberal Democrats and Plaid Cymru and we will respond in due course".
Aberconwy is a marginal seat and could influence the outcome of the election.
Plaid Cymru won the seat at the 2007 election, but both the Conservatives and Labour are also seen by commentators as having a chance of taking it on Thursday.
