Danescourt school's suspended teachers 'can return'
Four teachers suspended from a Cardiff primary school have been told they can return to work, lifting the threat of further strikes.
Teachers and support staff have held two days of industrial action since the four were suspended from Danescourt Primary School in October.
The teachers have been told they are now free to return to the classroom.
Cardiff council said: "All industrial action will now be suspended by mutual agreement of all parties."
The council had stressed previously the teachers were suspended for "personnel matters" and there were no child protection issues involved at the school, which has around 350 pupils.
Members of the NUT Cymru, NASUWT and ATL Cymru teaching unions had taken strike action over the issue.
A Cardiff council spokesperson said: "With suspensions being lifted, agreement has been reached on a way forward in relation to issues at Danescourt Primary School.
"No further public comment will be made at this time."
